The KOKUBU Group is closely tied with local communities and develops products with the aim of solving problems in these communities and revitalizing them. One of the most important initiatives for the KOKUBU Group is product development effectively using resources that would previously have been discarded, such as imperfect agricultural products and untapped seafood, and as part of activities leading to the revitalization of local communities. The Group champions nationwide wholesaling closely tied to these communities.

We use the KOKUBU Group’s network of sales channels to deliver products developed in local areas across Japan and to the world. We develop products through functions unique to a wholesaler responsible for sales channels and logistics linking production with sales points.

In addition, our product development is on the rise year by year through collaboration with clients, and we develop client-exclusive products with reliable quality and product development capability. We will provide streamlined support from flavor to quality, packaging, standards, and pricing, and refine our offerings into products that sell even better by optimizing our nationally developed supply system, sales channel design, labeling, and quality control, and applying consumer insights.

With our knowledge based on our achievements in working with over 10,000 suppliers and over 600,000 items, we will propose products with high added value. We achieve fast, highly accurate product development from manufacturing to sales. We offer differentiated, original products to retailers, as well as new added value and opportunities for market expansion to manufacturers, delivering an appeal originating in local communities throughout Japan.
