Retail Support capabilities
Preparation of selling scenarios in a cycle of 104 periods in 52 weeks
We support retailing with a wealth of know-how derived from our thorough experience of distribution.
We propose sales promotion campaigns that turn the sales space into a theater, as only a wholesaler could.
Our proposals do not stop with promotional measures for individual products and shelf space allotments; they extend to dietary lifestyle suggestions involving combinations of various foods. Our retail support activities have evolved into sales promotion that revitalizes the entire store based on a careful observation of lifestyle throughout the year. We divide the year into 52 weeks and propose promotional scenarios for each end display, matching the season and life events. We also put together sales packages more closely adapted to customer needs that divide each of the 52 weeks into weekdays and weekends, and are therefore based on a cycle of 104 periods. Additionally, we are capable of constructing original scenarios targeting specific types of households and age groups in the sales territory, based on data from point-of-sales (POS) systems and various other sources.
We also promote approaches to food education in keeping with our corporate commitment.

Examples of sales promotion plans proposing dishes in each of the 52 weeks a year
These days, approaches to food education are being advocated to instill healthy dietary practices on a lifelong basis. Grounded in careful consideration of the 52 weeks making up the years worth of meals, our scenarios focus on foodstuffs in season and special days on the cultural and traditional calendars. We make a positive contribution to spontaneous food education throughout the year. We are committed to delivering enriched lifestyles through the medium of food. In keeping with this commitment, we make proposals that emphasize education and family togetherness at the dinner table while being attuned to the changes in dietary habits among consumers.

Simulation using the space management software "Tana Power"
Visual Merchandising Center
Holding about 13,000 items for simulation of shelf space allotments with actual articles, our Visual Merchandising Center (VMC) is located in the Kokubu Johoku Center (in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo). Similarly, in each area, we have set up visual merchandising rooms and installed systems enabling simulation of shelf space allotments with actual articles and on computer screens. These facilities are utilized by a diversity of clients.
